Set up an OUTLOOK in a local Machine

 

Step 1) Open the OUTLOOK client.

Select Tool >> Email Accounts

 

 

 

 

 

Step 2) Select “ADD A NEW EMAIL ACCOUNT ”

 

 

 

 

Step 3) Select the server type to be POP3. Click NEXT

 

 

 

 

Step 4) Enter the following information

 

User Information:

-Your Name is your Display Name

-Email Address is your AllCatClaims email address

 

Logon Information:

-User Name is your Email Login

-Password

 

Server Information:

-Incoming Mail Server (POP3): pop.allcatclaims.com

-Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP): smtp.allcatclaims.com

 

Check “Remember Password”

Check “Logon using secure password authentication (SPA)”

 

 

 

 

 

Step 5) Click “More Settings”.

Click on “General” Tab

 

-Enter a mail account name Ex: POP.ALLCATCLAIMS.COM

 

 

 

 

Step 6) Click “Outgoing Server” Tab

-Check “My Outgoing server requires authentication

-Check “Use same settings as my incoming mail server”

           

 

 

 

 

Step 7) Click “Connection” Tab

 

Choose your connection type

Ex: Connect using your local area network(LAN)

 

 

 

 

Step 8) Click “Advanced”

Server Port Number

-Incoming Server (POP3):110

-Outgoing Server (SMTP): 25

-Check “This server requires an encrypted connection (SSL)

 

Click OK

 

 

 

 

Step 9) Now test your connection by clicking on the “Test Account Testing”

 

- Say YES to the pop up window “Do you want to connect using this server?”

 

 

 

 

 

 

You will get a similar result if your connections are correct. If not go back to the previous steps and verify the records.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 11) If the connection is successful CLOSE the window.

Click on  “Tools” >> “Send /Receive” >> “Send/Receive all” to download the emails from the server.
